No, motorcyle policy will only covers named rider(s) basis.

You can go to your prefer workshop to do repair work.

Max is 20% NCD for Motorcycle Insurance Policy.

We may repudiate liability for the accident in view of a breach in policy conditions.

Your NCD will drop to 0% if you involved accident and claims incurred.

If you have involved accident with below third party, you need to make police report

  • someone is injured
  • hit-and-run 
  • accident involve government vehicle/property
  • foreign vehicle, or 
  • pedestrian/cyclist 

 

You should make accident report within 24 hour at SOMPO Insurance reporting center

Things to bring is

  • NRIC

  • License

  • Certificate of Insurance

  • Police Report (if any)

  • Medical Report (if any)

  • Motorcycle (go to reporting center)

Your NCD will be further  penalised by one level on top of any NCD reduction resulting from the claim made under your motorcycle insurance policy.

Yes. You can withdraw the NCD while your policy is still in force, subject to no claims made under your motorcycle insurance policy. You need to top up the difference in premium due to the NCD withdrawal.

You must notify Insurer or contact Ensure immediately upon receiving such documents. Any delay on your part may make it more difficult to handle the claim.

As the facts of an accident will be different from case to case and we will need to evaluate each case on its own merits and handle the claims accordingly by the claims department.

You have to lodge a police report in Malaysia and have the vehicle towed back to Singapore for repair.

It may take a longer time to arrange for a tow service from Malaysia depending on the location of the accident. The nearest Malaysia towing services provider in the area will tow the vehicle to the Causeway and handover the vehicle to the Singapore towing services.

  • Comprehensive covers for legal liability to third party (both bodily injury and property damage) as well as damage to your own Motorcycle caused by accidental collision.
  • Third Party Fire and Theft covers for legal liability to third party (both bodily injury and property damage) as well as damage to your own Motorcycle as a result of fire or theft only.
  • Third Party covers for legal liability to third party (both bodily injury and property damage) only.

We will verify with your previous insurer and adjust the NCD accordingly.

If you declare a higher NCD, you will need to pay us the difference, and vice versa.

 

The driver involved in the accident must report personally, with a copy of driving license, NRIC and the certificate of insurance to Authorised Accident Reporting Centre. The vehicle have also be made present for photo-taking at the time of reporting.

You will email policy documents to you and no hardcopy will be mailed to you.

No refund shall be made where a claim has been made under the policy.
